The “hands for battle” is referencing the overall plan God has for us and that we need to grasp (as a hand would take hold of something) that God has our victory in the end. The “fingers for war” is assurance that God will give us the solutions to struggles in our day-to-day life if we will trust in his plan. Like in the story of David and Goliath, you are never alone.
